Under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum 2024 (WEIF), took place in Manama, Bahrain from 14 to 16 May, organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) ITPO Bahrain.
The theme of WEIF 2024 was “Achieving the SDGs through Fostering Innovation and Economic Growth”, and the event aspired to address global challenges, including poverty, inequality, climate change, peace, and justice; within the backdrop of the Sustainable Development Goals. WEIF 2024 brought together people from 84 countries and provided a platform for visionary leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors to connect and exchange, and to create greater impact together in achieving the SDGs.
Global thought leader Whynde Kuehn had the great honor of speaking at the event on a panel entitled “Disruption and Innovation: Entrepreneurs as the Pioneers of the Digital Frontier” alongside esteemed colleagues from across the Middle East, Africa, and India. She shared perspectives on how we can collaborate effectively across sectors and build effective ecosystems to collectively achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
